VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Oct. 16, 2007) - Sailors man the rails during the departure of dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) from her homeport of Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek. McHenry will serve as a platform for the Africa Partnership Station Initiative, which aims to work cooperatively with U.S. and international partners in promoting maritime security in Western Africa.
