ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 4, 2007) - Lt. A.S. Omotosho, a Nigerian navy officer embarked with Africa Partnership Station (APS), talks with Cmdr. Martin Pompeo, commanding officer of USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43), during a steel beach picnic. APS aims to work cooperatively with U.S. and international partners, consisting of European and African members such as the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany, Ghana and Cameroon, in an international effort to support African coastal nations with maritime safety and security.
