DAKAR, Senegal (Nov. 7, 2007) - Capt. John Nowell, commodore of the Africa Partnership Station (APS) task force, conducts a press conference with West Africa media agencies. APS aims to bring international training teams from 14 different countries to Senegal, Ghana, Cameroon, Gabon, and Sao Tome and Principe, and will support more than 20 humanitarian assistance projects in addition to hosting information exchanges and training with partner nations during its seven-month deployment.
