NEW YORK (May 20, 2009) The guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) sails under the Verranzo Bridge during the Parade of Ships, kicking off New York Fleet Week 2009. Approximately 3,000 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard will participate in the 22nd commemoration of Fleet Week New York, which will take place May 20 to May 27.
