KANDAHAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan (Jan. 9, 2010) Rear Adm. Mark Handley addresses the questions and concerns of Seabees assigned to the 30th Naval Construction Regiment, Naval Mobile Construction Battalions (NMCB) 22 and (NMCB) 74 during an all hands call at Kandahar Airfield. Handley addressed expected increases in deployment lengths and shortened homeport periods, supporting the President's troop uplift strategy as well as the role of Seabees supporting the maritime strategy.
