ARABIAN SEA (Jan. 1, 2011) Sailors assigned to the visit, board, search and seizure team and Coast Guardsmen assigned to the Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment Team embarked aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) conduct a pre-counterpiracy operations brief. Lake Champlain is deployed with Commander, Task Force 151 supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
