Truman (CVN 75) while launching from the ship's waist catapult during evening combat sorties. Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) is embarked aboard Truman and is providing close air support and conducting Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions over Iraq. 050116-N-6074Y-161 Island of Sumatra, Indonesia (Jan. 16, 2005) - Sailors assigned to the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) Carrier Strike Group, carry a sick Indonesian woman to a makeshift medical facility set up at the air base in Banda Aceh. Medical teams from the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) Carrier Strike Group, Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) set-up a triage site located on Sultan Iskandar Muda Air Force Base, in Banda Aceh, Sumatra. The two teams worked together with members of the Australian Air Force to provide initial medical care to victims of the Tsunami-stricken coastal regions. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is currently operating in the Indian Ocean off the waters of Indonesia and Thailand in support of Operation Unified Assistance.
