180712-N-SP229-491 PACIFIC OCEAN (Jul. 12, 2018) The crew of the Royal Canadian Navy maritime coastal defense vessel HMCS Whitehorse (MM 705) recovers their small boat while Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN) unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) operator Sascha Lagendijk flushes a REMUS 100 following a mine hunting mission to prepare the vehicle for a data transfer of the recorded sonar imagery, July 12, 2018. This mine hunting mission locates potential exercise sea mines in Southern California as part of the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise.
