YOKOSUKA, Japan (Feb. 1, 2023) Sailors practice fighting a simulated fire during a joint damage control drill aboard the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), while in-port at Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Feb. 1, 2023. The drill was designed to enhance coordination between Ronald Reagan's in-port emergency team and Commander, Navy Region Japan Fire and Emergency Services Yokosuka in the event of a large fire that requires additional assistance.
