The early 90’s brought little change to the overall look of the magazine. Although the layout of the covers changed slightly, the logo from the 1970’s remained for most of the decade. In 1998, however, a feature issue called “Any Day in the Navy” debuted with an all-new logo. The new logo was designed to have the appearance of a large-deck Navy aircraft carrier from bow to stern and would remain the basic look of the logo for the remaining years of print publication. The “Any Day in the Navy” issue became an annual feature each October for the remaining print years.
A special issue was printed in the summer of 1991, but we have included it here as the first issue of 1992 because there was no space available on the 1991 page, and in 1992 there was no November issue.
