Power in Partnership
National Guard Green Berets partner with Navy/Coast Guard
Members of the Army National Guard's 3rd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne) worked hand in hand with members of the US Navy and US Coast Guard while conducting training at Naval Station Mayport, Florida.
"Having the Army National Guard out here, we don't get to see this often," said ABH2 Darrel Dailey, aircraft handler. "Having the Special Forces team there, and seeing how they work, it's definitely a change of pace. Seeing that it's another branch, different aircraft, that's something that we don't get to encounter all the time. So being able to see that [equipment] up close and getting experience directing it, is a great experience.
It just goes to show you that we are all one team. No matter what's going on in the world, we can work together so we can contribute to one big plan. Me being here is really inspiring because I know that I'm helping them get ready for what they're going to do next."
