Military Sealift Command Ships Provide Logistics Services to Ships-at-Sea During RIMPAC 2018  (2 August 2018)
Four Military Sealift Command combat logistic fleet ships have been on station since June 26 providing logistical support to the 45 surface ships from 25 nations participating in the world's largest biennial international maritime exercise, Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2018 in Hawaii.

In a Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise first, Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN) Lt. Cmdr. Benjamin Martin, commander, HMNZS Matataua, based in Auckland, New Zealand, served as the undersea mine countermeasures commander (UMCMC) in the Southern California (SOCAL) area of operations.
