NAF Atsugi K9 Teams Conduct Joint Training  (14 February 2019)
K-9 handlers from Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi joined members of the three sister services, as well as Japanese police from Saitama prefecture, for a series of combined military working dog (MWD) training scenarios at the foot of Mt. Fuji, Feb. 12.
Friendship Through Sports  (14 March 2019)
On March 10 Naval Air Facility Atsugi hosted the 8th annual Tomodachi Bowl which featured Team USA All Stars vs. Team Rising Sun of Japan. The game ended with a score of 23-03 in favor of Team USA.

Chief Petty Officers (CPO) and CPO selectees from Naval Air Facility Atsugi (NAFA) area commands lent a helping hand to the citizens of Yamato, Japan during their first community relations (COMREL) event of the FY-20 Chief Petty Officer season.

More than 20,000 Japanese locals, Sailors and their families filled Taylor Field on Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi for an evening of cultural sharing, food and friendship.
