  • Family and friends wait on the pier for Sailors aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) to return to Naval Station Norfolk. Since deploying in April, the Sailors of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group flew combat operations in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, conducted numerous bilateral training events, operated above the Arctic Circle, and participated in Exercises Baltic Operations 2018 and Trident Juncture 2018; the first Sailors to deploy under the Navy's Dynamic Force Employment strategy. Future USS Billings Completes Acceptance Trials
