Rear Admiral Donald L. Singleton

Rear Admiral Lee Singleton reported as the director of Logistics, U.S. European Command, Stuttgart, Germany in July 2014. Previously, he served as the director for Logistics, Fleet Supply and Ordnance for the U.S. Pacific Fleet, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.

He earned his bachelor's degree in management from Troy University in Alabama and was commissioned through Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island. He holds a master’s in Business Administration degree from the College of William & Mary in Virginia, and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. He is a graduate of the Columbia University Senior Executive Program and the Stanford University, National University of Singapore Program for International Management.

Shore assignments include chief of staff to commander, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; commanding officer of the Navy's largest Fleet Logistics Center in Norfolk, Virginia; chief of staff for director of logistics (J4), The Joint Chiefs of Staff, Pentagon; supply officer, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida; budget officer, Naval Supply Systems Command, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; aviation logistics analyst, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV N41), Washington, D.C.; assignments officer, Naval Personnel Command, Washington, D.C.; and supply officer for the world famous Grim Reapers of Fighter Squadron 101, Oceana, Virginia.

Afloat assignments include supply officer, USS George Washington (CVN 73); supply officer, USS Vicksburg (CG 69); aviation supply division officer, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69); and assistant supply officer, USS Vreeland (FF 1068).

His personal awards include the Legion of Merit, Defense Superior Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various campaign and unit awards. He is a qualified surface warfare officer, naval aviation supply officer, and supply corps surface warfare officer. He is a member of the Department of Navy Acquisition Professional Community and is a joint duty qualified officer.
