WASHINGTON (NNS) -- All Hands Update features four newscasts everyday - one two-minute newscast and three one-minute newscasts.

Two-minute newscast-
- Headlines from around the fleet: The Navy announces USS Nimitz (CVN 68) will be homeported at Naval Station Everett, Wash., Naval Facilities Engineering Command receives Leadership in Energy Design gold certification; Expeditionary Strike Group Two prepares for Exercise Bold Alligator 2011; The Department of the Navy wins the award for the best military department in the Department of Defense Disability awards ceremony; The Navy Exchange Service Command will be donating $10 phone cards to deployed service members.

First one-minute newscast-
- The Essex Expeditionary Strike Group is participating in Exercise Keen Sword 2011.

Defense Media Activity Anacostia produces four All Hands Update (AHU) newscasts each day - one two-minute newscast and three one-minute newscasts. AHU can be seen throughout the day and evening on the Direct-to-Sailor (DTS) satellite television service available aboard 160 ships of the fleet and via the Navy Web site at www.navy.mil. Check your local DTS program schedule for air times. AHU can also be seen throughout the world on the American Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS).
