ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (NNS) -- Guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) departed Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Oct. 13, following a scheduled four-day port visit.

During the visit, Sailors experienced the local culture and took advantage of tours provided by Morale Welfare and Recreation.

One of the tours offered during the visit was to the local amusement park Ferrari World, which included a museum, rides, and the fastest roller coaster in the world.

"It was a cool port," said Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Michael Lara. "It's the only port we hit with an amusement park and it just happened to have the world's fastest coaster."

Truxtun is deployed as part of the George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
