SASEBO, Japan (Jan. 14, 2013) The Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46) is underway alongside the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) during a sea and anchor evolution. Tortuga is underway in preparation for an amphibious integration training and certification exercise and will participate in the annual multinational joint training exercise Cobra Gold.
