WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 6, 2013) Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus makes phone calls to Members of Congress and local officials informing them that a United States Navy ship was named in honor of a city in their state. The next three joint high-speed vessels (JHSV) will be named USNS Yuma, USNS Bismarck and USNS Burlington, and two littoral combat ships will be named USS Billings and USS Tulsa.
