USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70)
Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA (May 07, 2002)-- A Sailor aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) uses a needle gun to strip paint off one of the ships four elevators during one of many renovation projects aboard the Carl Vinson. Vinson and her crew are homeported at Naval Station Bremerton, WA and currently conducting their Planned Incremental Availability (PIA) period to install new technology and extend the operational capability of the ship.
