ARABIAN SEA (May 31, 2019) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Bainbridge (DDG 96) breaks away from the fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE 8) following a replenishment-at-sea. Bainbridge is part of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
