San Diego (Sept. 9, 2006) - A young boy has his fingerprints taken for a child identification kit offered at Americas Most Prepared Military Community (AMPMC). (AMPMC) held a sustainable program with-in Navy Region Southwest to provide a quantifiable increase in disaster preparedness for Department of the Navy (DON) personnel and their families. The programs educated DON personnel and families to track their preparedness to survive the first 72 hours following an emergency or disaster. This program is designed to bridge the gap between expectation and real-time response. U.S. Navy photo by Mass communication Specialist Seaman Apprentice Porter Anderson
