WATERS NEAR GUAM (Nov. 6, 2014) Cooks from the Valley members prepare and serve steaks to Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) during a steel beach barbecue. Cooks from the Valley is a diverse group of businessmen and women who, since 2001, have delivered approximately 53 tons of Harris Ranch, 12oz New York steaks to more than 140,000 Sailors and Marines around the world. Halsey is on deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
