Rear Admiral Matt Burns, a native of Metuchen NJ, enlisted in the United States Navy in 1988 and graduated Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training class 158. Enlisted tours included SDV Team ONE, SEAL Team FIVE, and Naval Special Warfare Development Group.
