Rear Admiral Vincent S. Tionquiao

Rear Admiral Vince Tionquiao, a native of Bremerton, Washington, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering and later earned a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School. He is a qualified Surface Warfare Officer, Information Warfare Officer and Joint Specialty Officer. In April 2024, he reported to The Joint Staff and assumed his current position as Deputy Director, Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Cyber .

Rear Admiral Tionquiao’s operational assignments include: Weapons Officer and Combat Information Center Officer for USS COMSTOCK (LSD 45); Communications Officer and Assistant Operations Officer for Amphibious Squadron FIVE. During a deployment with the TARAWA Amphibious Ready Group and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, he supported the recovery of USS COLE (DDG 67) from the Gulf of Aden in October 2000. He served as the Flag Communications Officer for Carrier Strike Group FOUR. He deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan in a Global War on Terrorism Support Assignment as the Communications Officer-In-Charge for Combined Security Transition Command, Afghanistan. He was assigned to Carrier Strike Group ELEVEN where he served as the Information Warfare Commander for NIMITZ Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom conducting operations in the Arabian Gulf and across the Indo-Pacific Theater. He Served as the Commanding Officer of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific and Commander Task Group 1010.3. He most recently served as the Maritime Operations Center Director for Fleet Cyber Command, Navy Space Command and TENTH Fleet.

His shore assignments include: instructor at Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific; Division Chief within the National Security Agency’s Information Assurance Directorate and Department Head for Navy Information Operations Command Maryland; Deputy Director for Communication Systems and Navy Element Executive Officer for Joint Interagency Task Force South; Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff, Networks and Information Systems for Fleet Cyber Command and TENTH Fleet where he was recognized for his support to Operation Rolling Tide; and Special Assistant to the 38th Vice Chief of Naval Operations; and Deputy Director for Communications and Information Systems for U.S. Pacific Fleet.
