About Us

The Navy Office of Information West (NAVINFO West) works with entertainment industry professionals to enhance public awareness of U.S. Navy technology and the highly trained personnel who make it function. Our mission is to provide guidance and expertise during all phases of the creative process, from concept to post-production, in order to ensure an authentic, accurate portrayal of the Navy's assets, policies and people in popular culture. If you have a project that meets our criteria, and are willing to work to meet the Navy's requirements for collaboration, a NAVINFO West official is standing by to ensure your needs are met.

Because access to Navy resources can be limited, it is imperative that requests be submitted at least 30 days in advance of your shooting date. To initiate your application process, please reach out to the email listed on this page. Confirmation will be provided upon receipt of your email and a project officer will be assigned within 10 business days to review and provide a status update.
