FY17 E9 Quotas Released

Quotas were released March 28 for the fiscal year 2017 active duty E-9 board that convened in Millington, Tennessee.

Eligible senior chiefs will see an increase in advancement opportunity -- 13.24 percent this year compared to 12.29 percent last cycle. Approximately 3,580 E-8 records will be reviewed by the board.

There are a total of 474 quotas, an increase of 80 quotas from last year's board, and opportunity remains near the 10-year opportunity average of 12.53 percent for E-8's to advance to E-9.
