NORFOLK, Va. - NWDC had the opportunity to gather their clubs and tees on November 3^rd and participate in a golf tournament at Sewell's Point Golf Course. The day was beautiful and with 6 teams competing, the pressure was ON! Mr. Michael Durkin, Director NWDC, opened the event with words of encouragement. After the customary team and group photos were taken, it was game on. "The weather was perfect and each team brought their A-game! Sewell's Point Golf Course made this idea a reality with their professional planning and expertise. Thank you to all who participated" said tournament organizer, Lieutenant Junior Grade Brittany Armand.

The game started off slow but the pace increased after it was evident that the teams competing were there to win. The competition was fierce and at the end of the day, one team came out on top. The winners of the NWDC's 2022 Golf Tournament were The Doctrinites! This team's champion golfers were: Robert Oldani, Christopher Riley, and David MacEslin. These lucky golfers are the winners of a $10 gift card to Sewell's Point Golf Course store. Congratulations to the Shooter McGavins of NWDC!
