Egawa received various briefs designed to provide a better understanding of the U.S. Navy’s overall Doctrine structure, concept development process, Warfighting Development Center integration, War Gaming, and Navy Lessons Learned.

During the visit, Egawa, accompanied by Capt. Keizo Kitagawa, Dean, Strategic Studies Department, and Cdr. Yudai Mihara, Instructor, Strategic Studies Office, had the opportunity to take a tour of NWDC and received a demonstration of the capabilities offered by the Navy Center For Advanced Modeling and Simulation (NCAMS). The visit helped to strengthen relationships and bolster understanding between the two nations.
