• October 12, Noon – 5 p.m.: U.S. Navy Band Country Current and the 2nd Marine Division Band at the All-Veterans Reunion Picnic, Independence Mall, 615 Chestnut St, Philadelphia.

• October 13, 11 a.m.: U.S. Navy Band and the 2nd Marine Division Band at the Navy & Marine Corps 250 Parade, John F. Kennedy Blvd. & 20th St to 520 Chestnut St (Independence Hall), Philadelphia.
• October 13, 2 – 3 p.m.: Navy 250th Commemoration at Independence Hall, 520 Chestnut St, Philadelphia.
• October 13, 5:30 p.m.– 6:30 p.m.: Fireworks over Delaware River, U.S. Navy Band Cruisers at the Lazy Hammock Stage, Philadelphia; 2nd Marine Division Band will perform at the Wiggins Waterfront Riverstage, Camden, New Jersey.
• October 14, 4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.: 2nd Marine Division Band and Silent Drill Platoon performance at Independence Mall, 615 Chestnut St, Philadelphia.
• October 15, 4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.: 2nd Marine Division Band and Silent Drill Platoon performance at Independence Mall, 615 Chestnut St, Philadelphia.

About your U.S. Navy and Marine Corps bands:

The U.S. Navy Band Cruisers was formed in 1999 and takes its name from the Navy's versatile, flexible, multi-missioned ship – the Cruiser – and the band lives up to its namesake with the capability of playing a variety of musical genres ranging from jazz standards, rhythm & blues, classic rock, adult contemporary and pop, as well as original material.

The U.S. Navy Band Commodores has been performing the very best of big band jazz for the Navy and the nation for 50 years. Formed in 1969, this 18-member group continues the jazz big band legacy with some of the finest musicians in the world. The Commodores' mission includes public concerts, national concert tours, ceremonial support in honoring our veterans, jazz education classes and clinics, and protocol performances for military and civilian government officials.

The U.S. Navy Band Country is nationally renowned for its versatility and fantastic musicianship, performing a blend of modern country music and cutting-edge bluegrass. This seven-member ensemble employs musicians from diverse backgrounds with extensive high-profile recording and touring experience in the music scenes of Nashville, New York, New Orleans and more.

The 2nd Marine Division Band - "The Division's Own" - was formed during World War II and provides musical support for the five major commands and 47,000 Marines to whom Camp Lejeune is home. Known for their marching precision and musical excellence, the members of “The Division’s Own” are proud of their role as musical ambassadors for the Marine Corps.

Robert "Seph" Coats. "At every show, we come together with the community to honor the tradition of naval service and to inspire the Sailors of tomorrow."

“We are thrilled to return to Philadelphia, the birthplace of the Marine Corps, where our legacy began in 1775,” said Chief Warrant Officer 4 Mark Pellon, Director of the 2d Marine Division Band. “We will celebrate the 250th birthday of the Navy and Marine Corps with the same dedication and enthusiasm our services bring every day.”
