69th Annual Current Strategy Forum to be held at U.S. Naval War College

Media are invited to attend the 69th annual Current Strategy Forum (CSF) hosted by Secretary of the Navy Richard V. Spencer and co-hosted by U.S. Naval War College (NWC) President Rear Adm. Jeffrey A. Harley, June 12-13, at the college.
Media are invited to attend the 69th annual Current Strategy Forum (CSF) hosted by Secretary of the Navy Richard V. Spencer and co-hosted by U.S. Naval War College (NWC) President Rear Adm. Jeffrey A. Harley, June 12-13, at the college. Spencer, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John M. Richardson and U.S. Marine Corps Commandant Gen. Robert B. Neller will provide keynote addresses on June 12. As NWC's academic capstone event, CSF brings together civilian and military leaders to discuss the future strategy of the United States and explores issues of national and international importance. This year's theme, "Technology, Innovation and Strategy," will focus on defining and understanding the ends and ways in a fast-changing and complex strategic environment in an era of rapid technological change, as well as coming up with the means in the face of resource constraints. Additional keynote speakers include: former Secretary of the Navy John F. Lehman; president and chief operating officer of Solarium LLC Andrew F. Krepineich, Jr.; and Carnegie Mellon University professor Kiron K. Skinner. Three panel discussions, "Innovation and Great Power Competition - A Historical Perspective," "Innovation and Strategy," and "Technology and Innovation," will be held over the two-day event.
