FY-18 Active Duty E-9 Quotas Released

Eligible senior chiefs will see a small increase in advancement opportunity of 14.80 percent, compared to 13.18 percent last year. Approximately 3,418 E-8 records will be reviewed by the board.

There are a total of 506 quotas, an increase of 32 quotas from last year's board, and opportunity is above the 10-year opportunity average of 13.01 percent for E-8's to advance to E-9.

Community managers continue to balance manning requirements within rates to ensure a more balanced and stabilized Navy.
