Commander, Fleet Logistics Support Wing (CFLSW), Capt. W. Scott Eargle, relieved Cmdr. Michael Newhouse, executive officer of Fleet Logistics Squadron Fifty Nine (VR-59), based in Fort Worth, Texas, due to loss of confidence in his ability to lead, following an investigation which was prompted by a Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command Inspector General complaint.

Newhouse became VR-59's executive officer in October 2015. He has been reassigned to Navy Operational Support Center Fort Worth pending further action. CFLSW has named Cmdr. Page Felini as the new executive officer.

Executive officers are the second in command of a Navy aircraft squadron and have a great deal of responsibility for their unit, their assigned Sailors and their mission. We take their performance very seriously. Our standards of conduct and performance are extremely high.
