Fleet Readiness Center West Commanding Officer Relieved

The commanding officer of Fleet Readiness Center West (FRC West) at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif., was relieved of his duties May 12 due to loss of confidence in his ability to command.
The commanding officer of Fleet Readiness Center West (FRC West) at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif., was relieved of his duties May 12 due to loss of confidence in his ability to command.

Capt. Kenneth Brown was relieved by Rear Adm. Paul Sohl, Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers, due to a loss of confidence in his ability to lead FRC West.

Brown assumed command of the center in October 2014. He will be temporarily reassigned to Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif.

Cmdr. Brett Ingle will temporarily fulfill duties as commanding officer of FRC West. Ingle is being reassigned from Fleet Readiness Center Southwest and has already completed a command tour. Cmdr. Steven Leehe is scheduled to take command on June 2, 2016, on the previously scheduled change of command date.
