This week's overview of alleged sexual assaults is compiled based on six initial reports across the Navy from September 14-20.
This week's overview of alleged sexual assaults is compiled based on six initial reports across the Navy from September 14-20. This timeframe reflects only the receipt of the initial reports; two of the reported incidents occurred outside of the report period and four occurred at an unknown time. Each report will be fully investigated. Looking at this snapshot in time, we see the following: * One report is from an event that occurred on-base, one is from an event that occurred off-base and four events occurred at unknown locations. * Of the six alleged offenders, one was a civilian and five were unknown. * One of the alleged offenders was male and five were unknown. * One of the reported incidents was alleged to be non-service member on service member and five were unknown. * Among the six alleged victims, four were petty officers and two were E-3 and below.
