NRD Seattle CO Relieved

The commanding officer of Navy Recruiting District (NRD) Seattle, Cmdr. Djamal Pullom, was relieved of duty by Captain John P. Lewis, Commander, Navy Recruiting Region West, Oct. 5 due to loss of confidence in his ability to command.
The commanding officer of Navy Recruiting District (NRD) Seattle, Cmdr. Djamal Pullom, was relieved of duty by Captain John P. Lewis, Commander, Navy Recruiting Region West, Oct. 5 due to loss of confidence in his ability to command.

Cmdr. Thavee Douangaphaivong, Deputy Commander, Navy Recruiting Region West, has been assigned as the acting commanding officer until a permanent commanding officer is identified and assigned.

Cmdr. Pullom has been assigned to the Naval Station Everett in Everett, Washington.
