The commanding officer of USS Whirlwind (PC 11) based at Naval Support Activity, Mina Salman, Bahrain, was relieved of her duties today by Commander, Patrol Squadron (PCRON) ONE, Cmdr. Jake Douglas. Lt. Cmdr. Bethany Busch was relieved of her duties by Douglas due to loss of confidence in her ability to command after a command investigation into inappropriate behavior. Lt. Cmdr.
