Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific awarded a $39.6 million cost-plus-award-fee contract with award options to DZSP 21 LLC, a large business of Marlton, New Jersey, for base operating support services at Joint Region Marianas, Guam, Dec. 4.

"A tremendous amount of diligence and teamwork went into this procurement action," said NAVFAC Marianas Commanding Officer Capt. Stephanie Jones. "Our dedicated teams are to be commended for the award of this BOS contract that will greatly enhance our ability to effectively and efficiently support our joint military customers' mission success in the areas of operations, maintenance and facility support."

The work to be performed provides for facility support and base operations support for the following services: management and administration, port operations, ordnance, material management, facility management, facility investment, electrical, wastewater, steam, water, base support vehicles and equipment, and environmental.

Work will be performed in various locations on Guam and is expected to be completed by June 2024.

This contract was competitively procured via Navy Electronic Commerce Online website with eight proposals received. The contract action is a re-award as a result of corrective action taken due to Government Accountability Office protest.
