Chip and Pin

23 March 2015
I get it. You've seen your share of these letters and just want to know what this actually means to you. Well here goes.

Everyone with a government travel card needs to log in to his or her CitiManager (http://www.citimanager.com/login) and ensure their contact information, specifically address, is up-to-date. Cardholders can also call the number on the back of the card to update their contact information.

Once your new card arrives don't forget to log into DTS and update your profile with the new card's information. For instructions go to: http://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/Docs/GTCC_Profile_Update.pdf.

These Chip and PIN cards contain a microprocessor that requires a 4-digit personal identification number (PIN) at point-of-sale. The result is an additional level of protection for your personally identifiable information (PII) as well as government transaction payment data.
