In celebration of its 75th Birthday, the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) is hosting a series of virtual concerts. Starting Weds., April 28, the #NEX75 Virtual Music Series will kick-off on NEXCOM’s Facebook page, @NavyExchange. The virtual concert series will showcase 16 musicians and bands over three days.
“We are very excited to bring another virtual concert series to our military members around the globe,” said NEXCOM’s Command Master Chief Dayna Winn. “We have been hosting virtual concerts for the past year and have gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback from the military community. We couldn’t think of a better way to finish our 75th birthday celebration than honoring our patrons for their support.” Developed in collaboration with Navy MWR / Navy Entertainment and with the support of NEXCOM vendor partners, the concerts will begin each day at 5:00 p.m. EST. Performers include Aly & AJ, Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October, Walker Hayes, Jake Miller, Lily Rose and The Brummies. A full list of performers with their performance dates and time can be found at .
Throughout the year, NEXCOM will host other virtual events featuring unique content, activities and special performances. Already scheduled are events in celebration of Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Navy Birthday and the holiday season.
“On behalf of all our 14,000 associates around the world, thank you for all you do each and every day in support of our Nation,” said Winn. “I hope you tune in and enjoy the shows!”
