Open to all Navy users, this event will provide transparent updates on the Navy’s migration to the unclassified modern cloud known as Flank Speed. We will showcase success stories from the organizations who are getting the most value out of the extensive Microsoft 365 (M365) tool kit.

“We’re incredibly excited to create an opportunity to connect innovators throughout the workforce in a meaningful way,” said Rear Adm. Susan BryerJoyner, Navy Enterprise Networks and Cybersecurity Division Director. “In this hybrid workplace, it’s important to create these moments so that each individual can understand how they fit in this monumental digital transformation initiative.”

BryerJoyner will keynote the first town hall, joined by representatives from Navy Network Warfare Command and the Naval Safety Command to highlight how their organizations have leveraged the capabilities provided within Flank Speed to transform how we execute our mission and amplify the ingenuity of Sailors and civilians within the Navy.

“We’re excited to share our journey at the Naval Safety Command,” said Joe McMahon, the Command Information Officer at Naval Safety Command. “Especially if what we’re doing here can inspire others out there and help them find new ways of doing business.”

While many commands have held internal live events using Microsoft Teams within Flank Speed, this will be the first time that an event will be open to the entire Navy community. The Flank Speed team plans on hosting similar events regularly through the year.

Invitations to the Town Hall will be made available on the newly-redesigned Flank Speed Hub and via the Navy Champions’ Network. Those who have not transitioned to Flank Speed may still join via a web browser.
