Submarine and Special Warfare Support Ships

Description
A number of chartered vessels are used in special mission and submarine support roles such as HOS Dominator, Dolores Chouest, Carolyn Chouest and C-Commando. These support ships are owned and operated by Contract Operators in support of Naval Special Warfare Command, U.S. Submarine Forces, Pacific and U.S. Special Operations Command. M/V Dolores Chouest, Carolyn Chouest and C-Commando are owned and operated by Edison Chouest Offshore, and provide training and exercise support for various Special Warfare commands. M/V HOS Dominator provides submarine support and is owned and operated by Hornbeck Offshore Services, Covington, Louisiana. M/V Malama also provides submarine support and is owned and operated by Hawaiian Resource Group.

USNS Arrowhead, USNS Eagleview, USNS Black Powder, and USNS Westwind are government-owned vessels and provide submarine support services.
