GROTON, Conn.

GROTON, Conn. (Sept. 25, 2020) The Virginia-class submarine USS Indiana (SSN 789) completed her maiden deployment and returned home to Submarine Base New London in Groton Conn., Sept. 25. Indiana departed from Groton just weeks into the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic and with just two port visits in Rota Spain the crew had little contact with the outside world since March.
