ADRIATIC SEA (Feb. 20, 2023) Lt. Sarah Huston launches an F/A-18E Super Hornet attached to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 86 from the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) during flight operations in the Adriatic Sea, Feb. 20, 2023. Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7 is the offensive air and strike component of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 10 and the George H.W. Bush CSG. The squadrons of CVW-7 are VFA-143, VFA-103, VFA-86, VFA-136, Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 121, Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 140, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 5, and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 46. GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Feb. 8, 2023) Donald Driver, a former wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers, meets with Sailors at Naval Station Great Lakes’Galley 535 during a Super Bowl-themed meal and event hosted by Goodwill and MWR. Opened in 1911, NSGL is the Navy’s largest training installation and the home of the Navy’s only Boot Camp. Located on over 1600 acres overlooking Lake Michigan, the installation includes 1,153 buildings with 39 on the National Register of Historic Places.
