U.S., Royal Malaysian Navy Submarine Leaders Participate in Guam Staff Talks

Rear Adm. Abdul Rahman, commander, Royal Malaysian Navy Submarine Force, center, and Rear Adm. William Merz, commander, Submarine Group Seven, operate a submarine dive simulator during a tour of submarine training facilities at Submarine Squadron 15, Dec 1. The simulator was just one of many scheduled events centered around submarine staff talks between the two nations. The purpose of the talks was to discuss various opportunities were the submarine forces of both nations can train and exercise together.
