Stennis and ROKN work together during Foal Eagle

PACIFIC OCEAN (March 24, 2016) Ships assigned to the John C. Stennis Strike Group and ships assigned to the Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy 1st Fleet Maritime Battle Group One steam together during Maritime Counter Special Operations Force (MCSOF) exercise, which is part of Foal Eagle 2016. Foal Eagle is an annual bilateral training exercise designed to enhance the readiness of U.S. and ROK forces and their ability to work together during a crisis. Providing a ready force supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific, USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) is operating as part of the Great Green Fleet on a regularly scheduled 7th Fleet deployment.
