Bristlebot

A completed Bristlebot assembled by a student at a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) event on Oct. 31, 2016, at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division in West Bethesda, Md. The students, from Lucy V. Barnsley Elementary School in Montgomery County, Md., learned to assemble the robots, which incorporate a small brush, a battery and a very small motor to create an electrical circuit allowing the Bristlebot to "walk" using vibrations.
