Chief of Naval Operations Visits Philippines, Highlights Importance of U.S.-Philippine Alliance

Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. John Richardson visits with leadership in the Philippine navy and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to discuss opportunities to further strengthen security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. Richardson's visit focused on U.S. and Philippine maritime domain awareness and naval capabilities, and the importance of the U.S.-Philippine alliance to peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
