190608-N-BK435-2015 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 8, 2019) – The San Antonio-Class amphibious transport dock USS Green Bay (LPD 20) and Whidbey Island-Class dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) break out of formation in a photo exercise (PHOTOEX) with Japanese helicopter destroyer JS Ise (DDH-182) and Ousumi-Class tank landing ship JS Kunisaki (LST 4003) during a bilateral transit. The Wasp Amphibious Ready Group is transiting with JS Ise and JS Kunisaki in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
