All personnel aboard the ship are being tested as Comfort is transiting the Atlantic Ocean, returning to Naval Station Norfolk following its mission in New York City in support of the nation�s COVID-19 response efforts. While in New York City, Comfort provided care for critical and non-critical patients without regard to their COVID-19 status. Comfort�s operations in New York City were conducted in support of U.S. Northern Command�s Defense Support of Civil Authorities as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
